Job summary

Metric Geo in Northern Virginia is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead heavy civil bridge rehabilitation and related structures. This hands-on role focuses on managing projects from award through closeout and serving as the main liaison with DOT and public agency clients.

You will collaborate closely with superintendents and project engineers, and mentor project engineers to ensure project success on bridge rehabilitation, structural repair, bridge replacement, and post-tensioning

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience in heavy civil construction.
• Experience with bridge rehabilitation, structural repair, bridge replacement, or post-tensioning projects is preferred.
• DOT/federal-aid experience is a plus.

I’m working with a growing heavy civil contractor that is looking to add an experienced Project Manager to their team in Northern Virginia.

This is a hands-on PM role focused on bridge rehabilitation, structural repair, bridge replacement, and post-tensioning projects.

What you’ll be doing:

• Manage projects from award through closeout
• Act as the primary point of contact for DOT and public agency clients
• Work closely with Superintendents and Project Engineers
• Mentor and guide Project Engineers

What they’re looking for:

• 5+ years of Project Management experience
• Heavy civil, bridge, structural, roadway, or related construction experience
• Comfortable dealing directly with clients and DOT/public agencies
• Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related field preferred, but equivalent experience will be considered
• DOT/federal-aid experience is a plus
