Job summary

Garney is seeking an entry-level Project Engineer in Greenville, SC. You will support the project management team by negotiating and purchasing materials, maintaining documents, and serving as a main contact with owners, architects, and engineers.

The role involves creating submittals/RFIs, coordinating projects, assisting with estimating, project setup/closeout, and supporting field operations while maintaining detailed job costs. Travel will be required for project success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or related field.
• Willingness to travel and work required hours to ensure project success.

Responsibilities

• Assist project management with negotiating and purchasing materials.
• Maintain project documents and act as point of contact with owners, architects, engineers.
• Create submittals and RFIs; coordinate projects from start to finish; assist with estimating; project setup and closeout; support field operations; maintain detailed job costs.
• Work professionally with owners and engineers; assist in scheduling projects and crews.

Education

Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or construction management
