Ferrovial's Webber division in Houston, Texas, seeks an experienced equipment operator to run rubber-tired skid steers or crawler tractors on heavy civil and infrastructure projects. You will load materials, assist with site operations, and help keep safety at the forefront.

Formación

• Less than a High School Diploma and related construction experience.

Responsabilidades

• Operate rubber-tired, skid steer, or crawler type tractor with an attached scoop type bucket.
• Load materials from stockpiles, excavations, charging batch plants, loading and unloading trucks.
• Signal truck driver to position the truck to facilitate loading of dirt, rocks, and other materials.
• Take actions to avoid potential hazards and obstructions such as utility lines, other equipment, other workers, and falling objects.
• May oil, grease, or otherwise service the machine.
• Make necessary adjustments to equipment as needed.
• Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures; report unsafe activities.
• Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
• Provide leadership to others through example and sharing of knowledge/skill.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
