Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Construction Management preferred).
• 3-5 years of heavy civil estimating experience required.

Responsibilities

• Reading, understanding and interpreting drawings and specifications.
• Soliciting quotes from subcontractors and suppliers; estimate to be 95% complete prior to formal review with Chief Estimator.
• Entering detailed data into our HCSS HeavyBid software.
• Reviewing estimated productions with superintendents to finalize the bid.
• Preparing rough schedule of project for determining time frame.
