Job summary

Posillico Civil, Inc. is seeking a Civil/Mechanical/Environmental Engineering student for an Engineering Intern role on Long Island. The program combines field experiences with office work alongside Civil, Mechanical and Environmental Engineers in a dynamic hands-on setting.

You will participate in safety talks, tool box talks, daily safety huddles, and support daily logs, quantity reviews, and project look-ahead scheduling while progressing through your degree.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in Civil, Mechanical, Environmental Engineering, or Construction Management program.
• Interest in heavy construction such as site-work, roads or environmental.

Responsibilities

• Assist in field and office tasks supporting Civil, Mechanical and Environmental Engineers.
• Assist in safety talks, daily safety huddles and maintain records.
• Enter daily quantities, track material deliveries and maintain logs (RFI, shop drawings, daily logs).
• Assist in developing look-ahead schedules and estimating additional work.
