Job summary

Segale Properties LLC is hiring a full-time Heavy Equipment Operator in Tukwila, WA. You will operate heavy civil construction equipment and perform general labor work. Heavy Civil Construction Equipment Operator ($35-$50/hr)

Segale Properties, a mid-sized commercial real estate company, is hiring a full-time Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team! This is a full-time, year-round position.

We are looking for someone committed to exceptional work, safety, cares about details others might not notice, takes pride in being reliable, and works independently as well as within a team. Regardless of role or tenure, we all chip in to get-it-done with a sense of humor.

Responsibilities Include:

• Safely operating various heavy civil construction equipment (loader, excavator, backhoe, dozer, grader, and similar).
• General laborer work (grade checking and scaling, shoveling, and similar) in conjunction with equipment operation.
• Occasional CDL driving, if licensed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• Demonstrates good judgement, organization, and strong commitment to safety.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of operating heavy civil construction equipment.
• Demonstrated understanding of grades and elevations.
• Proven punctual and reliable attendance to work.
• Able to perform physically demanding daily work outside, including lifting up to 60 pounds, bending, turning, sitting, standing, climbing, and other required movement without limitations.
• Valid Washington State Driver’s License with a safe driving record.
• Work in Othello, WA 3-5 weeks per year (travel at Segale’s expense and completed during the workweek).

Workplace Safety:

Job offers are dependent upon strong professional references, successful background and driving record check, and passing a preemployment drug screen.

Location/Work Schedule:

• The position is based out of our Tukwila, WA, office.
• Work completed in Othello, WA 3-5 weeks per year (expenses paid by Segale and limited to the workweek).
• Regular schedule is Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week (6:00 AM – 2:30 PM), with occasional overtime.
