Job summary

The Walsh Group, through Archer Western Construction, LLC, is seeking a Carpenter for the PR3 Pumping & Conveyance Volume 3 - Reservoir Pump Station in Arcadia, Florida.

The Carpenter will construct and install wood structures for heavy civil projects, using hand and power tools while maintaining safety and quality. This full-time role supports diverse US projects and offers career growth within the company.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years verifiable experience preferred.
• Ability to climb and maintain balance on scaffold/ladder.
• Lift up to 50 lbs; weather conditions.
• Adherence to safety policies; communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Good manual dexterity; long periods of standing, bending, kneeling or sitting.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Measure distance and mark guidelines on surfaces for installation.
• Build and install wooden structures in line with prefabricated units for bridges, drainage, walls, and related structures.
• Assist with installation of awnings or metal decking for concrete slabs if required.
• Use carpentry tools and machinery for wood fabrication.
