Job summary

Advanced Heat Treat Corp in Monroe, Michigan is seeking a reliable 1st Shift Heat Treat Support (General Labor) to join our manufacturing team. You will assist equipment operators and technicians by following process instructions, handling fixturing, masking, cleaning, loading and packaging of customer parts, and performing routine shop duties.

The role requires at least 1 year of industrial experience and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• One year of industrial experience is required.
• Ability to operate a forklift and an overhead crane, but training will be provided.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Support equipment operators and heat treat technicians by following process instructions and work orders.
• Perform fixturing, masking, cleaning, loading and packaging of customer parts.

We currently have a regular, full-time position open for 1st Shift Heat Treat Support (General Labor) working at our Monroe, Michigan facility.

Hours and pay:

Monday through Friday- 7 am to 3 pm.

What does Heat Treat Support do exactly?

Great question! You will provide support to equipment operators and heat treat technicians by carefully following process instructions and work orders. This position will include fixturing, masking, cleaning, loading, and packaging of customer parts, as well as routine shop duties. Attention to detail is a must! This work is done in a climate-controlled facility!

Job requirements:

• One-year industrial experience
• Ability to operate fork truck and overhead crane, but will train the right individual
• High school diploma or equivalent required
