Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR in Rhode Island is seeking a Machine Operator / Inspector to operate and inspect customer parts, load/unload furnaces, and maintain a safe, efficient work area across several shifts.

Shifts include Monday–Thursday 6:00 AM–4:00 PM, 4:00 PM–12:00 AM, and an additional weekend option (Fri–Sun 6:00 AM–6:00 PM). Candidates should have prior machine operation or inspection experience, follow written and verbal instructions, and have reliable attendance.

Qualifications

• Previous machine operation, manufacturing, heat-treating, or inspection experience required.
• Basic understanding of metallurgy, temperatures, or heat-treatment processes helpful.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality required.
• Ability to work with supervisors and coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Prepare materials and customer parts for processing.
• Load and unload furnaces, bins, fixtures, baskets, and related equipment.
• Inspect and handle customer inventory to prevent loss or damage.
• Report unusual conditions or equipment issues to the supervisor.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
• Follow safety procedures and work instructions.
• Perform additional production or inspection duties as assigned.
