The Heat Response and Relief Program Manager plays a critical role in protecting community health by leading efforts that reduce heat‑related illness and strengthen emergency response capacity. This position oversees program planning, coordination, and evaluation while building partnerships across government, community organizations, and coalitions to ensure effective and equitable service delivery. The Program Manager manages resources, collaborates with diverse teams, and integrates the perspectives of marginalized communities to support comprehensive, data‑informed public health strategies

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a major in business administration, public administration, public health, healthcare administration or related field as determined by the department head at the time of recruitment, AND four years of related experience in the coordination and/or implementation of activities for public health programs, clinics and/or community-based initiatives.
(Relevant experience and/or education from an accredited college or university may be substituted.)
OR:
Three years of experience with Pima County as a Public Health Program Coordinator, or other related management or supervisor or coordinator level job classification.
Qualifying education and experience must be clearly documented in the "Education" and "Work Experience" sections of the application.
