Job summary

Aira is seeking experienced domestic heating installers to join their team as Clean Energy Technicians. You'll be tasked with delivering high-quality heat pump installations, leading your team, and providing exceptional customer service.

Successful candidates will have relevant plumbing qualifications and installation experience. The role includes extensive training at the Aira Academy to develop your skills and ensure you succeed as part of Europe’s fastest-growing heat-pump installer.

Qualifications

• Should have experience installing hot water cylinders and radiators.

We’re currently looking for experienced domestic heating installers to join our team of Clean Energy Technicians. Even if you’ve never fitted a heat pump before, you may already have the skills we’re looking for. If you have experience installing boilers, heating systems, or heat pumps, we’d love to hear from you.

You’ll be responsible for delivering high‑quality heat pump installations safely and efficiently, while leading your team to provide outstanding customer service.

What You’ll Be Doing as a Heat Pump Engineer

• You’ll be helping families lower their costs and carbon footprint by installing the very latest Aira heat pumps, cylinders, and radiators.
• You’ll work closely with our designers to ensure that only efficient, reliable systems are fitted. All jobs will have been properly surveyed, and schematic diagrams will be provided for every installation.
• You’ll train at the Aira Academy to become an elite Heat Pump Engineer, giving you the opportunity for development and professional growth with the UK’s fastest‑growing heat‑pump installer.
• You’ll join a Europe‑wide team of engineers as part of the Aira family.

What We Would Like You to Have as a Heat Pump Engineer

We will provide all necessary air‑source heat pump training at our own Aira Academy; however, we need you to have the following:

• NVQ level 2 plumbing (or equivalent)
• Experience installing boilers or air‑source heat pumps
• Experience installing hot water cylinders and radiators

Preferred Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 plumbing (or equivalent)
• WRAS qualifications (water regulations)
• Gas qualifications
• Unvented hot water systems (part G)
• Level 3 heat‑pump system design
• F‑Gas Category 1
