Job Summary:
Fulton County Health Center's Heart & Vascular Center is seeking a skilled and motivated Echo Sonographer to join our team. The Echo Sonographer is responsible for performing a variety of cardiac testing procedures, including EKG, Holter monitoring, Stress Testing, and Echocardiography. The ideal candidate will exhibit independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative while promoting a positive environment for interpersonal and interdisciplinary relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Perform comprehensive cardiac testing, including EKG, Holter monitoring, Stress Testing, and Echocardiography.
2. Utilize independent judgment and technical skills to produce accurate and high-quality diagnostic images.
3. Maintain and ensure proper function of equipment used in diagnostic testing.
4. Provide patient care with a focus on comfort, safety, and confidentiality.
5. Demonstrate favorable guest relations, maintaining a professional demeanor and promoting the values of Fulton County Health Center in daily work performance.
6. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care.
7. May assist with other related patient care duties as needed.

Requirements

1. Two-year college or university program certificate; or two to four years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
2. Must be registered (or registry eligible) by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) as an echocardiographer (RDCS) or registered (or registry eligible) by Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
3. Proficiency in performing echocardiograms, EKGs, Holter monitoring, and stress tests.
4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
