Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of a Cardiovascular Disease fellowship.
• Completion of accredited Advanced Heart Failure training.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease and Advanced Heart Failure.
• Eligible for California medical licensure.
• DEA license required.
• Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to collaborative, evidence-based care.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient and outpatient general cardiology and heart failure care.
• Evaluate and manage patients with complex heart failure and cardiomyopathies.
• Assess patients for advanced heart failure therapies, including mechanical circulatory support and cardiac transplantation, and coordinate referrals as appropriate.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary cardiovascular teams to deliver evidence-based, patient-centered care.
• Participate in cardiology and heart failure call coverage, quality improvement, and clinical program development.
• Support the growth of the heart failure program and regional referral network.

El Camino Health Medical Network is seeking a Heart Failure Specialist to join our growing cardiovascular practice in Silicon Valley. This position offers a mix of general cardiology and heart failure care, including the opportunity to manage complex and advanced heart failure patients while helping expand our established heart failure program.
