Job summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) at Cone Health Medical Group delivers high-quality patient care under general supervision, coordinating patient care through the nursing process and multidisciplinary collaboration. The role emphasizes accurate assessments, individualized care plans, and timely interventions to promote positive outcomes.

Education required: Associate degree in Nursing; Bachelor’s degree preferred. Experience: minimum 1 year as an RN; licensure in North Carolina or a Compact state

Qualifications

Required: 1 year as a Registered Nurse.
Preferred: 1 year in a clinical specialty as defined by ANCC or national nursing organizations.
Required RN license in North Carolina or a Compact state (BLS CPR) acceptable by American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider.

Responsibilities

Reviews patient needs and conditions to deliver nursing care in assigned unit to ensure direct and proper care.
Analyzes patient information to develop individualized nursing care plans.
Prepares nursing processes, such as medication administration and treatments.
Reconciles medical records to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance.
Evaluates patient response to interventions and identifies additional interventions needed.
Collaborates with interdisciplinary care team for effective care planning.
Performs other duties as assigned.
