Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Brunswick, NJ, seeks a Heart Failure Faculty member to advance patient care, teaching, and research within the Division of Cardiovascular Disease and Hypertension.

The role offers opportunities for leadership in heart failure and mechanical circulatory support, with an emphasis on education of medical students, residents, and fellows, and collaboration in clinical and translational research.

Formación

• MD degree required.
• 3 years of internship and internal medicine residency completed.
• Completion of 3 years general cardiology fellowship and accredited advanced heart failure fellowship.

Responsabilidades

• Lead heart failure services ensuring compliance with rules and regulations.
• Provide high-quality inpatient and outpatient care for heart failure patients.
• Deliver medical care for patients with heart transplantation, pulmonary hypertension, and short- and long-term mechanical circulatory support.
• Participate in outreach activities.
• Develop and mentor the division's educational mission/program for medical students, residents and fellows in clinical cardiology and subspecialties.
• Participate in CME development programs.
• Develop and sustain heart failure research programs.
• Collaborate with faculty to initiate heart failure research studies.
• Explore leadership opportunities in Heart Failure and Mechanical Circulatory Support.
