About the Position

Responsibilities & Qualifications

This is a full‑time, academic position with vast clinical, research, and teaching opportunities. The ideal candidate will be a board‑certified/board‑eligible cardiologist with advanced heart‑failure and transplant training, demonstrated expertise in GDMT optimization and complex hemodynamics, experience coordinating advanced therapies (LVAD/transplant) within a multidisciplinary heart‑team, and a strong commitment to patient‑centered care, education, and program‑building at Staten Island University Hospital. The Advanced Heart Failure program at Northwell Health is a multi‑disciplinary team including heart‑failure cardiologists, surgeons, trainees, nurse practitioners, registered nurses, pharmacy, behavioral health, social work, and nutritional services.
