Job summary

Sonova Group in Elmhurst, IL is seeking licensed audiology professionals to assess hearing, advise patients on hearing aids, and drive patient growth. The role offers a base salary of $70,000–$85,000 with revenue bonuses and a standard 8:30am–5:00pm schedule Mon-Fri.

Qualifications include an Illinois Audiology or Hearing Aid Dispensing License; Doctorate or extern status is desirable. Benefits include PTO, holidays, paid leave, and employee hearing aids.

Qualifications

• Audiology or Hearing Aid Dispensing License in Illinois.
• Doctorate in Audiology or being a 3rd/4th year extern to contribute.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient hearing test assessments and analyze results.
• Explain benefits of hearing aids and address patient questions.
• Discuss pricing and value of hearing health care and services.
• Engage in community outreach to generate referrals.
• Educate patients on using new technology to achieve hearing goals.
• Conduct hearing aid repairs, checks and cleanings.
• Make adjustments to fitted devices per company quality standards.

Are you passionate about helping people rediscover the joy of hearing? We are looking for individuals who hold a Hearing Aid Dispensing License in the state of Illinois. Ideally, you have a Doctorate in Audiology, or you are a 3rd or 4th year Audiology Extern eager to make a difference.

Salary: $70,000-85,000 Base + Revenue Monthly/Quarterly Bonuses!

Hours: 8:30am-5:00pm Mon-Fri

Essential Functions:

• Perform patient hearing test assessments; analyze results and recommend varied treatment and product options


• Address patient’s questions and concerns regarding benefits of Hearing Aid use


• Discuss pricing of hearing instruments, presenting the value of hearing health care, your services, and the long-term effects of hearing aid use


• Community outreach efforts to generate new patient referrals


• Teach patients how to best utilize the new technology to meet their hearing goals


• Hearing aid repairs, checks, and cleanings.


• Perform needed adjustments to fitted products; comply with all procedural company quality standards and guidelines to maximize product performance and overcome patient concerns/objections.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Audiology or Hearing Aid Dispensing License in the state of Illinois.
