The role focuses on assembling high-quality, custom hearing aids, with on-the-job training across Planning, Casing, Cut/Trim/Buff, Finaling, and Wiring to ensure precise device delivery.

Responsibilities

• Plan and participate in the assembly flow for hearing aids.
• Casing components and assembling hand-held units.
• Cut, trim and bevel parts with precision.
• Finaling assembled units to meet quality specs.
• Wiring components according to schematics.
• Analyze quality issues and communicate findings.
• Participate in root cause discussions and corrective actions.
• Back up other teams as needed to maintain production.
• Follow standard work instructions at all times.

Starkey has a new opening for a Hearing Aid Technician at our world headquarters in Eden Prairie, MN! This position is responsible for assembly of high quality, custom hearing aids. You will be trained on different areas of the assembly process to ensure success in this position. This position is responsible for various hearing aid line positions to ensure proper assembly of custom-made hearing aid products. This includes Planning, Casing, Cut/Trim/Buff, and Finaling. As the Technician learns additional job functions and job knowledge, different levels are assigned to the technician, which includes Associate Technician, Core Technician 1, Core Technician 2, and Senior Technician.
