Assuring Better Child Health and Development (ABCD) is a Colorado-based nonprofit organization dedicated to enhancing child health by building connections across healthcare, community agencies, and early childhood systems to expand best practices. ABCD is also recognized as the State Intermediary for HealthySteps in Colorado, an evidence-based program administered by ZERO TO THREE, the nation’s leading nonprofit dedicated to supporting early childhood development.

This position will be a key member of the ABCD team, providing training and technical assistance (TA) to primary care practices that are implementing HealthySteps in Colorado. The role supports HealthySteps Specialists and site-based teams by offering TA focused on model fidelity, billing and sustainability strategies, data collection and reporting, and the quality implementation of all core model components. This role works to ensure high-quality implementation of the model, long-term sustainability, and strategic growth while ensuring alignment and coordination with other ABCD projects and initiatives.
This position requires a B.S. or Master’s degree in a related field.
The employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear, occasionally required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms, and must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
ABCD has a hybrid work environment. Staff work predominantly in the Denver Metro area. Generally, there are 2–4 required days per month for in person meetings, staff retreats, or other critical team-based work. Occasional travel may be required for on-site program visits or professional development training opportunities. All staff receive a quarterly remote work stipend to maintain an appropriate home office and stable internet.
ABCD is dedicated to professional development for all staff, with regular opportunities for training and coaching and attendance at applicable conferences and workshops.
Candidate must have a valid Colorado Driver’s License, reliable vehicle, and proof of Colorado auto insurance. Employees must be able to pass a comprehensive background check.

$65,000–$75,000 based on related education and experience.
