Job summary

Eliot is hiring a Healthy Families Supervisor for the MSPCC division in Massachusetts. You will supervise Home Visitors, conduct quality assurance activities, and connect families with community services to support child development and family wellness.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in family-centered, strength-based services, experience supervising diverse staff, and a valid driver’s license. Bilingual in Spanish and a BA degree are preferred; typical schedule is Mon–Fri, 9am–5pm.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with family-centered and strength-based services in a home visiting model.
• Experience supervising diverse staff in a demanding environment.
• Driver's license and access to a vehicle.
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred; BA degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical, administrative and reflective supervision to assigned Home Visitors.
• Conduct quality assurance activities including co-visits and home visit observations.
• Connect families with community services to support child development and family wellness.
• Foster relationships with staff and families using motivational interviewing and supportive services.
• Plan and co-facilitate parent support and parent-child interaction groups.

Eliot is seeking a passionate Healthy Families Supervisor to join our Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (MSPCC) division. You will be working with our Healthy Families program, a pregnancy and parenting education initiative designed to help young, first-time parents (up to 23 years old) to create a stable, nurturing environment for their child.

The ideal candidate brings understanding about child development, the ability to provide reflective supervision, and culturally responsive care, with a passion for empowering diverse families. You will support staff through modeling and teaching strength-based, trauma-informed care.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical, administrative and reflective supervision to assigned Home Visitors.
• Conduct quality assurance activities including co-visits, home visit observations and phone calls with families.
• Ensure families connect with the necessary community services to facilitate children's growth and development, parent's own health and wellness, and improve family functioning.
• Develop effective relationships with staff and families through utilization of motivational interviewing skills, modeling difficult conversations, and the provision of supportive, concrete services.
• Plan and co-facilitate parent support and parent-child interaction groups, as needed.

Annual Salary $50,000 - $55,000 USD
