Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking a Solutions Architect within AWS WWPS HCLS to partner with top customers and design cloud architectures using AWS services. You will lead deep architectural discussions and articulate business value to executives.

You will collaborate with account teams, migrate workloads, and help shape cloud adoption strategies, connecting technology with measurable outcomes for large enterprise customers.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of design, implementation or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
• 4+ years in technology domains such as software development or cloud computing.
• 4+ years IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries.

Responsibilities

• Ensure success in building and migrating applications, software and services on the AWS platform.
• In partnership with the account management team, formulate and execute a strategy.
• Educate customers on the value proposition of AWS and participate in deep architectural discussions.
• Conduct training sessions to transfer knowledge to customers considering or already using AWS.
• Capture and share best-practice knowledge amongst the AWS solutions architect community.
• Author or contribute to AWS customer-facing publications such as whitepapers.
• Build deep relationships with senior technical individuals within customers to enable cloud advocacy.
