Job summary

National HME, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Technician at our Peachtree Corners location to support the daily cleaning, disinfection, and proper handling of durable medical equipment.

You will work with the warehouse team to ensure equipment is sanitized, safely stored, and ready for patient delivery. The role emphasizes strict infection-control practices, use of PPE, safe lifting, accurate documentation, and timely communication with drivers.

Qualifications

• Must follow infection-control policies and wear NHME-approved PPE.
• Perform cleaning, disinfection, and maintenance of equipment.
• Document all cleaning/disinfection work accurately.
• Assist loading/unloading and support delivery drivers.
• Observe safety and body mechanics when lifting equipment.

Responsibilities

• Dispose of soiled supplies per infection control policies.
• Clean, disinfect, and maintain equipment in a timely manner.
• Follow all infection-control procedures, including PPE.
• Assist in unloading dirty equipment and communicate with drivers.
• Document and log cleaning work; keep floors swept and mopped.
