Responsibilities

• Receives incoming shipments and checks items against electronic purchase orders and related docs.
• Records, annotates, and forwards information; notes shortages and damages.
• Maintains warehouse flow by moving, shelving, and inventorying materials.
• Works with Warehouse supervisor and Inventory Specialists to ensure proper disposition of equipment.
• Places items on shelving; uses pallets to ensure safety and access.
• Prepares authorized materials for shipment (small packages and bulk).
• Sorts and delivers incoming mail; supports off-campus deliveries.
• Operates powered equipment including forklifts and hand trucks; may handle items over 40 pounds.
• May exert greater physical effort moving large quantities over extended periods; works outdoors in various weather.
• Hazardous materials may be encountered; may require valid state or CDL if operating vehicle.
• Schedule: Monday–Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm; potential for promotion to full performance level.
