Job summary

Wing is seeking a Healthcare Virtual Assistant (RN/USRN) to work remotely from the US or international locations. The role supports patient communication, referrals, and scheduling while maintaining EMR accuracy and HIPAA compliance.

Responsibilities include calling patients, processing referrals, ordering labs, and using Avaya soft phone to coordinate with providers. Prior healthcare experience and strong English are essential; graveyard shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• RN license required (Philippines or USRN).
• Minimum 1 year of experience as Medical Virtual Assistant.
• Experience in patient care preferred in family/acute/clinical settings.
• Excellent English communication skills (C1).
• Solid medical terminology knowledge and accurate EMR usage.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and privacy regulations.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Tech-savvy with desktop sharing, cloud services, and VoIP.
• Willing to work a graveyard shift.

Duties And Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To

• Call patients to relay test results in a timely and professional manner.
• Create and process referrals for specialized healthcare providers.

• Maintain and update electronic medical records (EMR), ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Ensure adherence to healthcare regulations, including HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality.
• Use communication tools like Avaya soft phone to interact with patients and healthcare providers.
• Ad hoc tasks as needed to support the healthcare team.

Qualifications

• RN License (Philippines or USRN)
• At least 1-year experience as a Medical Virtual Assistant
• Specialization or experience in patient care, family medicine, acute care, or clinical settings is preferred
• Excellent English communication skills both written and verbal (At least C1 level)
• Solid understanding of medical terminologies and practices
• Proficient in EHR/EMR systems and ability to troubleshoot common technical issues
• Understanding of healthcare privacy regulations
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Solid organizational & time management skills with keen attention to details
• Tech savvy & familiar with current technologies, like desktop sharing, cloud services, and VoIP
• Able to work on a graveyard shift

Salary Package (with HMO)

• Entry Level (1-3 years of experience): Up to PHP 39,500
• Intermediate Level (3-5 years of experience): Up to PHP 48,000
• Expert Level (5+ years of experience): Up to PHP 53,000
