Job summary

Epic is seeking a Trainer to lead in-person and virtual training for physicians, nurses, and healthcare staff, while supporting Epic staff in their transition. You will design training materials, collaborate on workflow-based content, and work with organizations to tailor training solutions.

Relocation assistance is provided, and the role requires travel 25-60% with several short trips monthly. A strong stage/classroom presence and prior teaching experience are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or greater (any major).
• Prior education, teaching, or performance experience preferred.
• A history of academic and professional success.
• Willingness to travel 25-60% of working days, with typical month including 1-2 trips lasting 2-4 days.
• Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Relocation to the Madison, WI area (reimbursed).
• COVID-19 vaccination.

Responsibilities

• Lead in-person and virtual training sessions for physicians, nurses, and other healthcare users as well as Epic staff.
• Serve as the first point of contact for staff and users, shaping their experience as they transition to Epic.
• Design and develop training materials and scenarios to be delivered.
• Collaborate with organizations to develop their training content and workflow-based training experiences.
• Contribute to projects to make Epic software more intuitive.
