Job summary

UnityPoint Health is seeking a Supply Technician II to ensure timely replenishment of supply areas, manage PAR levels, and order supplies using the ERP system. You will print labels, stock specialty carts, and respond quickly to STAT requests in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

The role requires attention to detail, reliability, and a commitment to supporting frontline care operations. The full-time day shift includes a weekend rotation for Saturday-Sunday duties.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate’s degree preferred.
• Two (2) or more years of healthcare or inventory experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license when driving any vehicle for work-related reasons required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate and timely PAR level counts while monitoring usage trends and reporting variances.
• Identify opportunities to improve PAR efficiency, including inventory levels, organization, and item adjustments.
• Use system tools to locate products, document supply requests, and communicate needs or discrepancies to Inventory Control.
• Maintain accurate inventory records, including processing credits and identifying out-of-stock items to ensure supply continuity.
• Receive, stock, and organize inventory throughout designated areas.
• Replenish crash carts and specialty carts, ensuring readiness, accuracy, and compliance with department standards.
• Inspect carts, prioritize distribution needs, and communicate issues impacting availability or workflow.
• Support equipment PAR monitoring and distribution processes, ensuring timely issuance and delivery.
• Properly tag and route equipment for repair while maintaining organized tracking and documentation to support efficient supply chain operations and patient care readiness.
