Job summary

Lehigh Valley Health Network is seeking a Special Procedures Supply Coordinator to ensure availability of medical supplies, devices, and equipment for all procedures. You will monitor inventory levels, coordinate with Patient Care teams, and respond to scheduling changes to support case starts.

Key duties include collaborating with Surgery, Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology leadership, and maintaining chain of custody for tissue and mesh products.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required; 2 years in supply chain, materials management, procurement, inventory control, or healthcare handling significant dollar value and complex inventories.
• Preferred: Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or certification (e.g., CMRP) could be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and manages multi-million dollar expenditures of supplies, devices, equipment.
• Collaborates with department to determine substitutes and ensure availability for scheduled procedures.
• Reviews EPIC Scheduling module for equipment availability and case start times.
• Acts as liaison among supply chain, vendor service reps, A/P, Risk Management, Compliance and Revenue Cycle.
• Utilizes EPIC and Lawson systems for tracking implants and inventory.
