Job summary

Aspirus Wisconsin Rapids Hospital & Clinics is seeking a Supply Chain Technician to join the Supply Chain Operations and Logistics team. The role involves receiving, counting, replenishing, and distributing products and equipment, plus supporting mail and copying tasks across units.

The position is part-time (0.60 FTE), 48 hours every two weeks, daytime hours. Candidate should have a high school credential and familiarity with hospital supply chains; Excel experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
• General health care supply chain process flow knowledge normally acquired through 1+ year(s) experience in a hospital environment recommended.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Experience in Microsoft Excel preferred.
• Annual competencies as required by Aspirus and/or various regulatory agencies based on entity and/or job position.

Responsibilities

• Receiving, counting, replenishing, and distributing products and equipment throughout the unit(s).
• Works directly with customers to ensure supply needs are met.
• Reviews reports daily and ensures orders process through MMIS system.
• Performs disinfecting and/or cleaning of medical equipment at select units.
• Processes and delivers mail and inter-department mail at select units.
• Provides copying services at select units.
