Job summary

Northwestern Medicine is seeking a Supply Chain Specialist I, Logistics at Kishwaukee Hospital in DeKalb, IL. The role supports inventory ordering, receiving, equipment, linen and mail, and works to meet KPI targets within the Supply Chain team.

You will interact with clinical staff on product changes, assist with special projects, and help ensure data integrity using WaveMark and PeopleSoft while prioritizing safety and efficiency in a hospital environment.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED or equivalent with at least two years of relevant work experience.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with patients, visitors and staff.
• Proficient in computer use and able to learn various programs.
• Ability to work independently and respond quickly under pressure.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Follows standard work and methodologies around inventory, receiving, equipment, linen and mail.
• Utilizes WaveMark and PeopleSoft to maintain data integrity.
• Contributes to daily activities to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
• Orders and delivers supplies based on par levels and notifies management of shortages.
• Performs routine audits of supplies and equipment for accuracy and proper use.
• Maintains a clean and safe work environment and promotes workplace safety.
