Job summary

PointClickCare is seeking a Software Training Specialist to prepare and deliver high-quality training for new and existing customers, online and onsite, using adult learning principles and diverse instructional tools. You will continually refine training processes and content to stay current with product updates and industry standards.

Reporting to the Sr Manager, Professional Services, you will coach customer super users, develop train‑the‑trainer programs, and collaborate with Product,

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in training and development.
• Previous client-facing training experience.
• Self-motivated and enthusiastic, with strong interpersonal skills.
• Excellent communication skills, especially explaining technical concepts to non-technical users.
• Strong understanding of adult learning concepts/theories, training development techniques.
• Proficiency with gen‑AI (e.g. Claude, Copilot).
• Experience conducting training sessions both in-person and remotely.
• Clinical or Financial experience within the senior care industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct classroom training at company sites, industry conferences, or customer locations.
• Coordinate and schedule training sessions, including participant and resource management.
• Promote and facilitate adoption of online learning modules to support ongoing user education.
• Determine individual and group training needs to address specific business requirements.
• Define and communicate training expectations to end users for effective learning outcomes.
• Develop and mentor customer super users to enable leadership of internal training.
• Deliver train-the-trainer programmes, including coaching and shadowing.
• Assess post-training knowledge transfer and identify areas for improvement.
• Maintain up-to-date training databases and content reflecting latest product enhancements.
• Collaborate with Product, Support, and Customer Success teams to share insights and inform content enhancements.
• Identify and elevate escalated risks related to product adoption or knowledge retention to management.
• Support achievement of KPIs including customer satisfaction scores.
• Recommend and improve AI-native processes.
• Participate in educational workshops and certification to stay current.
