Job summary

enGen is offering a Summer 2027 Software Engineer Graduate Internship designed for graduate students nearing completion of their degree. The intern will contribute to developing and modernizing enterprise healthcare technology solutions, work within the DCSS application development team, and participate in an Agile environment throughout the software lifecycle.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree is required.
Pursuance of a graduate degree full or part-time in an accredited college or university.
Currently pursuing a master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, or related technical field.

Responsibilities

Communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders to plan assignments and resolve operational problems.
Under supervision, provide professional services aligned with day-to-day operating objectives.
Participate in projects to develop professional skills and expertise.
Assist in planning and implementing unit projects and initiatives within area of expertise.
Conduct research and reporting with recommendations or alternatives for action.
Engage in related studies or enrichment programs related to objectives of the operating unit.
Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
