Job Description
Reporting to the Director of Sales, Southern Region, the Account Executive, South Central Region owns the territory growth strategy across Texas and Louisiana and is accountable for achieving or exceeding annual revenue targets. This role creates qualified pipeline, develops relationships across hospitals and health systems, and leads complex enterprise opportunities from initial engagement through contract execution. The successful candidate can engage clinical, IT, operational, and executive stakeholders and translate healthcare workflow challenges into measurable business and clinical value.
Primary Responsibilities
- Develop and execute an annual territory plan identifying priority health systems, strategic targets, existing-customer expansion opportunities, pipeline requirements, and actions required to achieve or exceed quota.
- Build and maintain sufficient qualified pipeline through strategic prospecting, referrals, industry events, partners, and account-based outreach; maintain accurate CRM data, forecasts, next steps, and close plans.
- Own complex enterprise opportunities from discovery through solution alignment, business case development, proposal, negotiation, procurement, legal review, and contract signature.
- Develop multi-threaded relationships with CIO, CNIO, CMIO, CNO, nursing informatics, clinical engineering, IT, operations, procurement, and other clinical and business leaders.
- Lead consultative discovery and develop compelling value propositions and business cases addressing clinical, operational, financial, and technology priorities.
- Articulate Connexall’s value across interoperability, alarm and event management, clinical communication, workflow automation, and mobility, demonstrating how Connexall connects disparate technologies and transforms events into actionable workflows.
- Understand customer EHR, clinical communication, mobility, and medical-device strategies and position Connexall to extend and maximize enterprise technology investments, including Epic and other major EHR environments.
- Build working knowledge of hospital workflows and technologies including nurse call, patient monitoring, EHR/ADT, clinical mobility, RTLS, medical devices, and enterprise communications.
- Clearly communicate Connexall’s differentiation and competitive value to clinical, technical, operational, and executive audiences.
- Develop expansion strategies within existing Connexall customers by identifying additional hospitals, departments, workflows, integrations, and enterprise standardization opportunities.
- Lead and orchestrate discovery sessions, executive presentations, solution demonstrations, and customer engagements, leveraging Sales Engineering, Customer Success, clinical, product, implementation, and executive resources.
- Communicate customer objectives, requirements, risks, and issues clearly to internal teams and collaborate cross-functionally to advance opportunities and support customer success.
- Develop productive relationships across the healthcare technology ecosystem and monitor market and competitive developments to identify and advance strategic opportunities.

Qualifications
- University Degree in Business, Marketing, or other relevant discipline required.
- 5+ years of successful enterprise technology sales experience; demonstrated success selling complex solutions into hospitals and health systems strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to independently create qualified pipeline, penetrate complex health-system accounts, establish executive relationships, and convert multi-stakeholder opportunities into contracted revenue.
- Consistent track record of achieving or exceeding quota and managing long, complex sales cycles.
- Strong consultative and value-based selling skills, including discovery, business case development, executive presentations, negotiation, and closing.
- Working understanding of healthcare clinical and operational workflows; experience with Epic or other major EHR environments, clinical mobility, alarm management, medical-device integration, or clinical communications strongly preferred.
- Excellent communication, organization, territory management, forecasting, and CRM discipline.
- Ability to travel (50%-70%).
