Job summary

Allied Universal in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Inspector to monitor and protect clients in healthcare settings, deter incidents, and provide courteous service to patients, visitors, and staff.

The role requires at least 6 months in security, a high school diploma, and the ability to pass background checks and a drug screen. Shifts are night hours, with pay at $18.10 per hour.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years old; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check required under federal, state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• A drug screen may be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site policies, assisting with directions and access-related questions as appropriate.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activity accurately and promptly, communicating relevant information to site leadership and/or emergency responders.
