Job summary

Harris Health is seeking a Security Supervisor responsible for patrolling and securing Harris County Hospital District properties, supervising security staff, guest relations, access control, parking services, investigations and training. The role includes assigning duties, reviewing reports for accuracy, mentoring personnel and leading investigations as needed.

Qualifications

High school graduate required.
Valid Texas Driver's License; SAMA or equivalent certification within six months; IAHSS Supervisor Training within six months.
Must be registered by the Texas Private Security Bureau within 90 days of employment.
Four years of security/related experience; two years of progressive supervisory experience.
Strong verbal and written communication; PC proficiency.

Responsibilities

Patrol and secure Harris County Hospital District facilities, including buildings, grounds and parking areas.
Supervise Security Officers, Guest Relations, Access Control, Parking Services, Investigations and training.
Assign tasks, review reports for accuracy, mentor staff and assist development of the team.
Lead investigations when required and oversee ongoing training for veteran and new personnel.
