Job summary

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Licenses: IAHSS Certified Healthcare Security Advanced and Texas DPS Private Security Bureau license; valid drivers license; CPR certification.
• 2+ years of security supervisory experience; strong leadership.
• Must understand English; proficient in written and verbal communication.
• Proficient with computers and security software.

Responsibilities

• Supervise shift security operations including scheduling and posts.
• Coordinate security matters with nursing administration as required.
• Mentor and assess security staff; conduct roll calls and briefings.
• Respond to security and emergency incidents; assist patients, visitors and staff.
• Ensure adherence to hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards.
