Job summary

Trinity Health Livonia Hospital is seeking a Security Officer to patrol assigned areas, observe for unauthorized entry, and respond to safety concerns under the Lead Officer's direction.

We value public-relations skills, calm communication under pressure, and the ability to lead and de-escalate in stressful situations. CPR certification within 6 months of hire is required, CPI training desirable.

Qualifications

• Six to twelve months related security experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associates degree preferred.
• CPR certification required within 6 months of hire; CPI training desirable.

Responsibilities

• Patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security.
• Observe signs of unauthorized entry and respond to safety concerns.
• Take instruction from Lead Officer and follow lawful orders; interact professionally with the public.
