Job summary

Ochsner Health is seeking a Security Officer to protect patients, guests, and staff across our facilities. You will enforce safety policies, perform inspections, and respond to incidents with professional communication and discretion.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of experience in Security, law enforcement, or military is required.
• BLS certification and a valid driver’s license are required.
• CPI training and firearms training are required.
• IAHSS certification must be obtained within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Enforces safety and security policies on company property.
• Conducts routine inspections of on-site and off-site locations.
• Investigates incidents and reports findings promptly.
• Performs opening/lockdown of buildings as approved by Administration.
• Participates in emergency response and drills.
• Maintains annual certifications and training as required.
