Job summary

Qualifications

• International Association for Healthcare Security & Safety certification within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Detect, correct, report, investigate, manage and prevent safety and security hazards on hospital campuses and SJCHS properties.
• Assist with inspections of fire extinguishers, sprinkler systems, hazardous waste containment, access control and Environment of Care activities.
• Perform fire or emergency drills as requested by Safety Security Management.
• Respond to Incident Command situations, duress alarms, crises, and hazardous material situations.
• Escort, vehicle assistance and campus transportation directions.
