Qualifications

• Provide courteous customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while enforcing site policies.
• Report security-related concerns promptly in accordance with procedures.
• Demonstrate calm, professional problem-solving during incidents and emergencies.
• Maintain presence to deter unauthorized activity and ensure a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, healthcare location policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site-specific protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facilities, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor management, directing individuals to appropriate areas while maintaining a professional and service-oriented presence.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and patrol activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.
