CHI Health Lakeside seeks a Security Officer to uphold safety standards across the facility. You will patrol areas, deter and investigate incidents, monitor cameras and emergency systems, and coordinate responses via radio while aligning with hospital values and quality improvement goals.

The role emphasizes vigilance, strong observation, and proficiency with surveillance and dispatch technologies, ensuring a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Six (6) months healthcare security experience preferred.
• One (1) year security officer experience acceptable.

Responsabilités

• Maintain safety by patrolling assigned areas and deterring crime.
• Monitor surveillance equipment and emergency systems; dispatch personnel by radio.
• Respond to calls for assistance; report and document incidents clearly and timely.
• Protect staff, patients, and visitors; respond to emergencies and codes as needed.
• Log all activities and ensure incident reports are complete and accurate.
• Use appropriate codes in dispatching security officers and know hospital locations.
