Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Patient De Escalation for a full-time role in Hopewell, VA. You will protect patients, staff, and visitors, perform patrols, monitor access points, and respond to urgent events in a hospital setting.

You must have security experience, meet vaccination requirements, and be able to work in hospital morgues with restraint capability. This role emphasizes customer service, teamwork, and a people-first approach.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of security-related experience.
• Must meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Must be able to work in a hospital morgue.
• Must be able to restrain individuals when necessary.
• Two years in healthcare or medical-related field preferred.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by following security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and effectively, including medical emergencies and visitor concerns.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor management according to site policies.
• Document incidents and daily activities accurately and communicate information to appropriate personnel.
