Job summary

Securitas, Inc. is seeking experienced Healthcare Security Officers for a fast-paced medical environment in Mount Vernon, NY. This is a full-time role requiring at least one year of security experience and a valid NYS Security Guard License.

You’ll patrol hospital grounds, monitor access, respond to incidents, and assist clinical staff while maintaining calm, professional presence. Shifts include mornings, afternoons, or overnights with weekend availability preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of security experience.
• Must have valid NYS Security Guard License.
• COVID-19 vaccination required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Patrol hospital grounds, interior spaces, and entry points.
• Monitor access control and manage visitor flow.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies with professionalism.
• De-escalate situations involving patients or visitors when necessary.
• Enforce site policies and safety procedures.
• Complete accurate incident and activity reports.
