Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Site Monitor in Lancaster, SC to safeguard clients across healthcare facilities. You will monitor hospital areas, deter incidents, provide patient and staff assistance, and operate computer/tablet systems to support daily security tasks.

Shift schedule reflects night hours in a healthcare setting. Minimum requirements include good customer service, basic computer skills, and a high school diploma; background check and drug screen are

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and other hospital personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical emergencies, disturbances, and access-related concerns.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of hospital buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or potential hazards.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor management, directions, and adherence to facility access procedures.
• Document incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately and communicate relevant information to appropriate personnel.
