Job summary

Baptist Health in Prattville is seeking a Security Officer II to protect patients, staff, and visitors across hospital grounds and facilities. You will patrol, respond to incidents, operate security CCTV, and support emergency response while maintaining a professional and service-oriented presence.

This full-time night shift (6PM–6AM) requires high school diploma, POST/DD-214, firearms qualification, and a valid Alabama driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• POST certification or DD-214 required.
• Annual firearms qualification with a minimum score of 70%.
• Valid Alabama Driver's License and acceptable driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Protect Baptist Health patients, employees, and properties by patrolling the facility grounds.
• Respond to emergencies and assist patients, employees and visitors.
• Control vehicular and foot traffic and operate security CCTV.
• Work independently or as part of a team to maintain safety and order.
• Perform other duties within scope of the role as assigned.
