Job summary

Highmark Health is seeking participants for the Summer 2027 Sales Support Undergraduate Internship in Wisconsin. The program offers practical, hands-on experience supporting sales operations, client services, and strategic business initiatives within the healthcare industry.

Interns will collaborate with Sales, Account Management, Service, Marketing, Underwriting, and other partners to support business growth, client retention, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Full or part-time enrollment in an accredited college or university baccalaureate program.

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with colleagues, clientele, and internal stakeholders in planning assignments and resolving day-to-day operational problems.
• Under supervision, provide entry-level professional services as appropriate to day-to-day operating objectives; receives guidance, training, and mentoring from senior personnel.
• Undertake and/or participate in projects and programs designed to develop professional skills and expertise for the organization.
• Participate in planning and implementation of unit projects and initiatives within area of expertise and ability.
• Conduct research and reporting with recommendations or alternative proposals for action.
• Undertake related studies or enrichment programs as appropriate to the operating unit.
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
