WellStar Health System is seeking a Manager RC Operations to oversee hospital revenue cycle and accounts receivable functions. You will lead a diverse team, drive process improvements, and partner with finance and payor stakeholders to optimize cash flow.

The role requires extensive experience in billing, denials, and payer escalation, with strong data analysis and leadership skills to deliver sustained performance improvements within a large healthcare system.

Qualifications

• Required strong knowledge of billing and revenue cycle processes.
• Experience with denials management, appeals, and payor escalation.
• Ability to analyze data, generate KPIs, and present findings to leadership.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounts receivable and revenue cycle operations for hospitals within WellStar Health System.
• Lead revenue cycle meetings and coordinate with vendors and department leaders.
• Monitor DNFB, CFB trending, AR reports and other performance metrics.
• Identify root causes of variances in cash collections and denials; implement improvement plans.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, Medicare/Medicaid regulations, and payer requirements.
• Provide leadership and development to staff; manage workload and schedules.

Education

GED General or High School Diploma

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration/Management
