Job summary

Merck & Co., Inc. invites interns to join the Future Talent Program in our Healthcare Quality Improvement HQI team within GMPEA, a 12-week internship with one or more projects in our Research Labs division.

The intern will help with landscape assessments, TA quality measure reports, and collaboration with medical societies to advance guideline-concordant care and patient outcomes. Applicants should be college students in Business, Medical, or Science fields and show leadership and communication

Qualifications

• Candidates must be a college student in Business, Medical, or Science.
• Advanced degree candidates (MPH, PharmD, PhD) are preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication, motivated to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Support healthcare quality landscape assessment projects for therapeutic areas.
• Develop TA quality measure reports and identify gaps.
• Assist TA medical and outcomes research consultations on HQI.
• Catalog medical society priorities related to HQI and implementation science.
• Support execution of HQI strategic priorities.
