Job summary

U.S. Army Medicine Civilian Corps seeks a Management and Program Analyst (Healthcare Quality & Accreditation) to manage accreditation and continuous readiness programs at NAS Pax River, MD. You will develop policies, coordinate audits, and report to executive leadership on compliance with The Joint Commission and DHA regulations.

The role emphasizes data-driven improvement, governance of PI processes, and collaboration with the Quality and Safety team to ensure patient care excellence.

Qualifications

  • One year of specialized experience including Accreditation and Continuous Readiness Program Management.
  • Experience leading Organizational Performance Improvement (PI) programs.
  • Healthcare data analysis and program evaluation experience.
  • Team leadership and providing technical guidance.

Responsibilities

  • Serves as the Program Manager for the MTF's comprehensive accreditation and continuous readiness programs for The Joint Commission (TJC) and other regulatory agencies.
  • Develops processes to assess and validate compliance checklists for all applicable TJC standards.
  • Interprets evolving external standards and develops local policy and implementation strategies for compliance.
  • Creates, analyzes, and provides accreditation compliance reports and briefings to executive staff.
  • Manages preparation, record keeping, and reporting of significant findings related to patient care practices; presents findings to the Quality Council and committees.
  • Provides oversight to ensure DHA regulatory compliance and acts as integral member of the Quality and Safety team.
  • Directs data collection, organization and analysis to identify risks and determine causes for corrective action.
  • Works with department chiefs to ensure clinical data for TJC accreditation is collected and analyzed per standards.
  • Serves as senior technical expert for Performance Improvement (PI) program and drives continuous improvement.
