US Healthcare is seeking an experienced Healthcare Purchasing Specialist to coordinate the purchasing, ordering, and fulfillment of medical supplies and equipment for skilled nursing facilities. We are looking for someone with strong organizational skills, purchasing experience, and the ability to work effectively with vendors and healthcare teams.

The role is full-time with a Monday–Friday day shift and NO WEEKENDS, located in Howell Township, NJ.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years purchasing, procurement, or order fulfillment experience.
• Healthcare or medical supply purchasing experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Experience with purchasing software preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Purchase medical supplies and equipment for skilled nursing facilities.
• Source products, obtain competitive vendor quotes, and compare pricing.
• Prepare, place, and monitor purchase orders.
• Coordinate with vendors regarding product availability, deliveries, and backorders.
• Review order confirmations and invoices for pricing and quantity accuracy.
• Work with the accounting department to process invoices.
• Verify inventory and resolve shipment discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records and vendor information.
• Help ensure facilities receive necessary supplies in a timely and cost-effective manner.
• Perform additional purchasing and administrative duties as needed.
