Job description

Healthcare Project Manager | CCBHC Implementation & Certification

If you’re a healthcare project manager who has led big, complex initiatives and wants to build something that changes how a community gets care, this one is worth a look.

I’m working with a well-established organization in New Hampshire that is launching its Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) initiative. They’re looking for a strong project leader to own it from start to finish: planning, certification, rollout, and making it last.

You don’t need to be a clinician for this one. Another community health center filled this same role with a project manager, and that’s what made it work. You’d report directly to the CEO, and you’d be the go-to person pulling clinical, operations, finance, IT, quality, and HR together to get it done.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Leading the CCBHC implementation plan, timelines, and milestones from day one through certification
  • Managing certification, recertification, site reviews, and audits, and serving as the main contact with state agencies
  • Coordinating across clinical, operations, finance, quality, IT, and HR teams, and clearing roadblocks along the way
  • Building the workflows, policies, and procedures that keep the program compliant
  • Setting up KPIs and dashboards, and using data to drive quality improvement
  • Partnering with the business office on budgets, grant reporting, and long-term sustainability
  • Leading the change management that comes with a project this size
  • Building relationships with hospitals, primary care, schools, first responders, and community partners
  • Keeping the CEO and Board updated on progress, risks, and opportunities

Details:

  • Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Business, Social Work, or a related field (or an equivalent mix of education and experience)
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in healthcare, behavioral health, or integrated care, including 5+ years in management or leadership
  • A track record of leading complex, cross-department projects and change management efforts
  • Strong data, reporting, and performance management skills
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations and quality improvement
  • A plus: CCBHC, FQHC, or community mental health experience, Medicaid-funded programs, or a PMP certification
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (multiple locations)
  • Reports directly to the President/CEO
  • Strong benefits package (can be discussed during a phone conversation)
